The Elegancia Dance Company  Jennifer Luna , owner of Elegancia Productions and Promotions, LLC, director of the Elegancia Dance company, Salsa Instructor and Partner of SalsaIndy, has been dancing since the age of 7. Starting with Tap and Jazz, she later branched out into jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, poms, hip hop, irish step dancing, ballroom, west coast swing, and latin dance. She began salsa dancing in 2003 at the same time that she was introduced to ballroom dancing. She has previously taught jazz, hip hop, and ballroom and done choreography for high school dance teams, showchoirs, solos in modern dance, and ballroom dance performances.  Shayne Carter , choreographer and owner of Organic Rhythms Dance Studio, started out as a self-taught hip hop dancer. Through several different school programs and groups, she was later exposed to other dances such as: tap, ballet, and country square dancing. It was this diverse dance background, along with african/afro-cuban influences, that allowed her to develop the unique salsa style that she is known for. Shayne has been a well-known fixture in the Indy salsa scene for over five years. In that time, she has performed at many local venues/events such as: The Conner Prairie International Festival in 2006 & 2007, The Annual Big Ballroom Bash held at the Murat Theatre in 2005 & 2006, in Franklin with People, Paint & Percussion, and more. She has also performed at the 2007 Chicago Salsa Congress.  Danese Kenon has been dancing Salsa since 2003, when she was introduced to it on the streets of Havana, Cuba. She has performed salsa multiple times in Indianapolis and also has performed in upstate New York. She is a professional photographer.  Tiffany Robinson has been a salsa dancer for several years and has taught salsa at community centers for underpreviliaged youth in Indianapolis. She was mentioned in the Indiapolis Star News as a "salsa addict" in a recent article. Tiffany is the Director Clinical Operations for Gennesaret Free Clinic. Joel Briggs has only been salsa dancing for about a year, but is quickly becoming one of the top salsa dancers in the city. He has previously had experiance with martial arts and cheerleading, all of which have helped him in being a fast learner of salsa. Joel graduated from Indiana University in Business and is a personal banker for Old National Bank.  J.C. Bryant is a professional ballroom dancer and instructor. He has been teaching at a ballroom studio in Cincinati for 7 years, and has been involved with many performances in Cincinati.  Sean Jones has only been dancing for one year, but you wouldn't know it from watching him on the dance floor! Sean is a graduate of University of Indianapolis in 2005 in Graphic Design, where he attended all four years on a football scholarship.
